Hello! I’m Christine
I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in the state of Florida, specializing in Bowen Family Systems Theory. I work with individuals, couples, and families who are facing difficult changes and life transitions. As a marriage and family therapist, I assist couples and individuals identify the source of the vicious cycles that keep them stuck, help identify faulty communication patterns and provide the tools and resources for a happier and more peaceful life.
I understand life can be tough. You might be struggling with putting everyone else’s needs above your own, trying to balance career and family and feeling completely overwhelmed and exhausted.
My approach to counseling is tailored to fit the individual needs of my clients. I thoughtfully understand that seeking help can be difficult and will always offer a safe, non-judgmental, and compassionate space for clients to feel supported and comfortable throughout their counseling journey. Whether you are facing difficult life transitions such as a breakup, career change, or struggling with depression, anxiety, or relationship issues, my goal is to stay focused on your goals and assist you in developing healthier coping strategies that will help build back your confidence.
So often clients lose hope and feel defeated and it becomes impossible to remember their own strengths. Highlighting what is working and building upon your own strengths will help foster that confidence in your life and in your relationship that’s been lost. My mission is to help my clients work through their struggles which will in turn foster more balance in your lives and create more fulfilling relationships with the important people in your life.
I earned my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University in 2020 and my bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education from NSU in 2012. I am intensively trained and utilize evidence- based modalities such as, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Level 1 Gottman Method for Couples Therapy. I am also trained in Bowen Family Systems Theory, traditionally utilized in couples and family therapy to gain a deeper understanding of your own patterns and behavior, how they relate to those of your multigenerational family, and more effective ways for changing your response within the relationship system.
Spending quality time with my husband and son fills my cup and I appreciate being in the company of family and friends.
I enjoy spending time doing outdoors activities in my hometown of sunny South Florida and love all that it has to offer.
I have a genuine commitment to helping you reach your fullest potential and equip you with the skills and tools you need to communicate effectively, solve your relationship problems, and restore and strengthen relationships. Let’s navigate this journey together. Call or email to set up a complimentary phone consultation.
