Hello! I’m Katherine

I understand life doesn’t always go as planned and you might feel like you’ve lost your way. Having experience with current or unresolved trauma can lead to relationship troubles, anxiety, or feelings of depression. These issues can hinder you from being your best self. I am passionate in helping you achieve your goals and assisting you in finding your way.

Imagine waking up and feeling peace and balance within your relationship and overall life. I can assist couples and individuals get to the root of their faulty communication and behavioral patterns that may result from their own family dynamic. I offer tools and techniques to help you navigate these obstacles more effectively. I work with a diverse population including but not limited to the black and Caribbean community and have specific cultural experiences to assist you on your journey.

My passion is to help you regain clarity and confidence. I am dedicated to taking my knowledge and systemic approach and customizing it to fit your unique individual or couples experience. With compassion and dedication, I will always provide an environment that is safe, relaxing, and down to earth. This relatable environment infused with warmth and humor, allows for a collaborative effort in seeing positive changes.

My clients have reported an increase in self-esteem, communication, self-advocacy skills and overall relief to deal with issues such as relationship conflicts and daily interpersonal interactions that may cause stress.

I earned my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University in 2017 and my bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Barry University in 2014. I am trained in level 1 and level 2 in Gottman’s Method for Couples Therapy, Solution Focused Brief therapy, Cognitive Behavioral therapy, and Rapid Resolution therapy. I completed other trainings in the areas of domestic violence, parenting skills, attachment styles, and initial trauma and their responses. I enjoy the company of my family and friends. I also make sure to prioritize my self-care which can look like watching a good movie, being creative, or my personal favorite watching vlogs on YouTube.

Allow me to help you find your way. Confidence, clarity, and balance is closer than you think. To set up a complimentary phone consultation please email (Katherine@coralspringscounselingcenter.com) or call (954-675-1936 ext 2)
