Hello! I’m Dr. Rachael

I understand life can be tough. You haven’t felt like yourself. In fact, you don’t even remember what that feels like anymore. You’re run down, on edge, or simply exhausted. You’re trying to keep it all together for your spouse and kids and it’s becoming harder and harder. I get it.

I am passionate about the work I do with couples and adult individuals. I specialize in working with couples who are struggling with communication issues, feelings of anger and resentment, and broken trust after betrayal. I also work with women struggling with perinatal issues such as postpartum depression and other pregnancy and parenting related challenges.

Imagine feeling seen and valued in your relationship, feeling a deeper level of intimacy and desire, finally being able to communicate without resentment and anger boiling to the surface and feeling an overall sense of calmness and peace in your life. I am thrilled to embark on this journey with you, empowering you to overcome challenges, strengthen relationships, and begin a path towards personal growth and fulfillment.

My style is warm, compassionate and non judgemental. At times I will sprinkle humor like confetti, carefully, subtly, never forgetting the seriousness of the issues at hand. It’s a delicate balance, but one that adds a touch of humanity to the healing journey.

I have years of experience working with couples and individuals dealing with anxiety, relationship conflict, trauma, maternal mental health issues and more. I have completed level 1 of the Gottman Method Couples Therapy Training. I am also trained in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADS) and utilize my knowledge to educate clients on the many aspects of postpartum mental health issues. I believe that education is KEY in this matter! I use evidence-based methods to help support my clients through the challenging times in their lives. These methods help improve communication, build confidence and compassion, create trust, and develop a deeper level of intimacy.

I graduated from Nova Southeastern University with my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2012. In between working and growing my own family, I completed my Ph.D. in Family Therapy in 2019. I grew up in the Midwest and relocated to South Florida in 2009. I like to think I bring my Midwest charm wherever I go! I spend my time attending after school activities and caring for my family. I enjoy reading books, trying new trendy TikTok recipes, and working out. As a busy mom I am an avid podcast and audiobook listener. This has helped me fulfill my desire to learn more about the world we live in. I am always consuming information to keep up with research to better serve my clients and family.

You don’t have to navigate the healing path alone. Take the courageous step and reach out today. To set up a complimentary phone consultation please email (Rachael@coralspringscounselingcenter.com) or call (954-675-1936 ext 6)
