Meet The Team

Hello! I’m Katherine

Feeling emotionally drained, whether in your relationship or everyday life, can feel incredibly isolating and exhausting. Many couples and individuals often feel overwhelmed, confused, and worn down. You might find yourself second-guessing your every move, questioning what’s real, or feeling dismissed no matter how clearly you try to express yourself. Maybe you feel stuck, unheard, or unsure of what to do next. These experiences are real, and healing begins when you feel seen, heard, and supported in a space that feels safe and empowering.

Now imagine waking up and feeling like you and your partner are finally on the same page. Or starting to live with more clarity and self-understanding, creating stronger relationships along the way. My work often helps clients move beyond surface-level changes to uncover deeper patterns, especially those connected to early family dynamics. With the right combination of insight, compassion, and practical tools, I support clients in building emotional resilience, improving communication, and learning how to navigate relationships with more confidence and awareness.

I have advanced training in Narcissistic Abuse and Gaslighting Treatment, which allows me to identify subtle and often hard-to-name signs of emotional abuse. Couples often feel confused, invalidated, or unsure whether what they’re experiencing is real. These dynamics can be deeply disorienting and painful even if they’re invisible to the outside world. Whether you're starting to question aspects of your relationship or already working to reclaim your voice, I offer a compassionate and grounded space where both partners can feel supported. Together, we’ll create an environment where it’s safe to explore difficult patterns, foster mutual understanding, and work toward healthier, more respectful connections. Clients often leave therapy with stronger boundaries, improved self-esteem, and a renewed sense of trust in themselves.

Whether you’re dealing with relationship struggles, healing generational wounds, or simply want a therapist who truly understands, therapy with me is relaxed, collaborative, and down to earth. I tailor my approach to each person or couple, and I bring a culturally sensitive lens to every session. I have a special commitment to serving clients from the Black and Caribbean communities, and I believe therapy should feel both safe and relatable. With warmth and a bit of humor, we’ll work together to help you move toward a more fulfilling life.

I earned my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University in 2017, and my Bachelor’s in Sociology from Barry University in 2014. I’m trained in both Level 1 and Level 2 of the Gottman Method for Couples Therapy, and I also draw from Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My additional training includes domestic violence, parenting support, attachment styles, trauma responses, and specialized work in narcissistic abuse and gaslighting.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy time with family and friends, watching a good movie, exploring my creative side, or relaxing with a favorite vlog on YouTube.

If you're ready to find your way back to confidence, clarity, and balance, I’m here to help.
